"Bye Bye" seeks to align with the positive and simplistic ending of the latest Evangelion movie: Thrice Upon a Time. Although, in my opinion, the reconstruction of the Evangelion story left much to be desired, I followed it to the end and couldn't help but join in its intention to give a happier ending to its beloved characters. With this piece, I aimed to pay homage to the original work, but with the cleanliness and simplicity that characterize the Evangelion reconstruction. The piece is framed by a beautiful colonial altarpiece that blends into the painting, with its columns integrated into the composition.
